Responsibilities

• Review and code OASIS-E assessments for home health agency clients.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to reflect the patient’s clinical picture.
• Ensure compliance with CMS home health billing and OASIS guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff to resolve coding queries.
• Conduct quality audits of coded records and provide educational support.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OASIS coding experience in a home health setting.
• Current coding credential (CPC, CCS, or HCS-O) strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and CMS home health conditions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts remotely.
• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with common home health EMR platforms (Homecare Homebase, WellSky, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex clinical documentation.
• Proven track record of maintaining productivity and accuracy metrics.
