Air & Ocean Freight Coordinator

Join a globally recognized, people-first freight forwarder dedicated to operational excellence and employee well-being. We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage complex, time-critical air and ocean shipments within our fast-paced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air freight shipments, including booking, documentation, tracking, and final delivery. • Support comprehensive sea import operations, including ISF/AMS filings and intermodal coordination. • Collaborate with airlines, ocean carriers, and truckers to ensure seamless cargo recovery and transit. • Proactively monitor shipment milestones and resolve operational exceptions to maintain high service levels. • Ensure accurate system updates, cost control, and final billing for all assigned cargo.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding with a primary focus on air freight operations. • Proficiency in CargoWise is strictly required. • Strong expertise in sea import operations with knowledge of documentation and terminal coordination. • Working knowledge of AES, TSA requirements, AMS, ISF, and bonded/FTZ cargo handling. • Proven ability to independently manage multiple time-sensitive shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling aerospace or time-critical/AOG shipments. • Certified expertise in Hazmat/Dangerous Goods (DG) handling. • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. • Experience supporting multiple internal offices or high-volume client portfolios.
